Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air Concept
Mitsubishi has been promoting their i MiEV concepts – a quick recharging, 14 hour drive electric vehicle – for the past couple of years. Their latest inception is the i MiEV Sport Air concept. i MiEV stands for “innovated Mitsubishi electric vehicle” and want first introduced in 2005′s Mitsubishi Colt, followed by the Lancer Evo MiEV, and two MiEV concepts from 2006.

Mitsubishi’s i MiEV Sport Air has multiple electric motors, two in-wheel motors up front and one motor producing thrust in the rear. A lithium-ion battery unit is placed in the wheelbase to keep weight distribution while maintaining a low center of gravity. The i MiEV Sport Air has a range of 125 miles with a top speed of 112 mph.

Mitsubishi seems interested in being the first big car company to introduce an electric sports car. That public will be able to check out Mitsubishi’s i MiEV Sport Air Concept at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in March.

This car is hot and I think that they should bring it out to the public.
