Mainly for on-road, this midsize Endeavor has a run of the mill, but well-rounded package. In its fourth generation, Mitsubishi still upholds its reliability in good performance, comfort and handling. Notable features for the 2008 Endeavor include its car-like construction, front- or all-wheel-drive and the electronic stability system.

A 225-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 engine comes on both the LS and SE trim levels. The tow package, which has a capacity of 3,500 pounds, includes a power-steering fluid cooler. Standard equipment for the LS includes 17-inch wheels, tilt steering wheel, cruise control and full power accessories; while the SE trim adds leather upholstery, trip computer, power driver seat and heated front seats.

The Mitsubishi Endeavor comfortably seats five, leaving plenty of head- and legroom for passengers. The dashboard is unique with blue interior lighting. The maximum cargo space, improved by folding rear seats, is adequate for families. Overall, the interior design is suitable for comfortable long trips.

Standard antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, traction control and full-length side curtain airbags for the 2008 Endeavor. All models are equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system and a standard electronic stability system.

Giving the control to the driver, the Endeavor allows for a surprisingly enjoyable ride. For everyday tasks and commuting, the weight is perfectly balanced and durable.
